Sum is at the vanguard of where the arts, tech and ethics overlap, and music is one of his several main disciplines. As a hip-hop musician, the two-time Independent Music Award nominee’s work has been featured in Saints Row and dozens of TV shows including Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy. He continues to enjoy creating and releasing music for a number of different projects and collaborations, most recently releasing his LP, House of the Red Solar Sky, which features collaborations with Meshell N’Degeocello, stic.man (Dead Prez), Big Rube, Floating Action and more.

In addition to enjoying placements from his personal discography, Sum has recorded hundreds of work-for-hire songs for highly sought after music libraries, often recording songs to spec, on request, in the style of the day. This ability has given him a transgenerational / multi-genre pen and voice that is not bound to any particular rules, except the ones he has designed for himself.
