Tao of The MC is a series of meditations on the technical, spiritual and personal development aspects of rap. In many ways, my work as a hip-hop artist is an ongoing spiritual exploration. I started working on it in 2005, as a way to capture some of these ideas.

This is far from what I started working on way back then, but all the different things that have developed since then can be considered part of a series or “world” that is Tao of the MC. So this e-book is the first piece from that world. Hopefully I’ll find time and space to share more in coming years.

This is a love letter to my craft, with 21 mediations that might help somebody in 2021, which looks like its going to be another harrowing year. Please enjoy.
